Spend Your Time Preparing and Enjoying Your Meals, Not Planning Them!
Over the years, I’ve learned that finding great recipes isn’t particularly difficult. Follow a few blogs, buy a few cookbooks, and you’ll never be without good options for your next meal or snack.
Even shopping isn’t as much of a hassle as it used to be. Many grocery stores offer their own delivery or pickup services (which let you place an order and then pick up your shopping order curbside). And there’s always Instacart.
You know what’s the biggest food-related challenge in my house?
It’s the planning.
There’s a virtual “embarrassment of riches” when it comes to healthful and delicious recipes. But organizing and browsing through all of them and coming up with a good rotation of meals each week, and then translating that into a shopping list, all the while staying on top of the nutritional macros in each recipe…. WHEW! It’s a lot to do.
Sure, I could find two or three recipes I like and then just cycle through them endlessly (and at times in my life, that’s exactly what I’ve done). But I know that’s not good for my health or my taste buds in the long term.
Then that’s where Real Plans has been such a time saver.
The Benefits of Real Plans Meal Planning
A Real Plans meal planning subscription is about a lot more than just making it easy to choose your recipes for the week (although even that would be worth the price of admission!).
The Real Plans Menu Planner gives you a single page view of all the recipes you’re planning to make during the week. The Menu Planner lets you see the week at a glance, so that you know everything that’s coming up. And if you decide to change the timing or day of a particular recipe, it’s just a simple matter of dragging and dropping the recipe icon.
The Recipe Box is where you’ll find all of the yummy recipes to add to your meal planner. A basic subscription includes access to over 2,400 recipes, and it’s easy (and inexpensive) to upgrade and get access to some of the most popular “real food” recipe authors, including Nom Nom Paleo, Wellness Mama, The Whole30 Package, PaleOMG and more.
And here’s one of the most valuable features of Real Plans; if you have any food allergies, you can exclude certain foods, food groups, and even ingredients from the recipes that show up in your Recipe Box. Have a problem with gluten or dairy? Simply change your account settings and you’ll never see a recipe in Real Plans with those ingredients. You can also filter by a number of different dietary approaches, including Paleo, Primal, AIP, and Keto – LCHF.
Using Real Plans gives you a single place to not only choose recipes and plan your week, but also a Timeline for meal prep. How many times have you forgotten to thaw something that you’ll need for that evening’s dinner? Never again!
You’ll also get an easy-to-manage Shopping List that brings all of your selected recipe ingredients together in one place.
And these features are all connected to one another to make your meal planning go more easily than it’s ever been. For example, you can adjust the number of servings for any recipe with a quick mouse click… and as soon as you do the recipe ingredient amounts are is automatically updated. And the quantities on your shopping list are automatically updated as well!
It’s easy and inexpensive to get started with Real Plans. Subscriptions start at just $6 a month when you purchase an annual membership. Having all of your meal planning resources in one place could easily save you at least five or ten minutes a day… that could easily add up to saving five or six hours a month or more.
What would you do with an extra five or six hours of time next month?
